St.
Basil School has devoted more than fifty years to providing
total education to children - spiritual, social, emotional,
physical and intellectual. Our mission is founded in the
tradition of Catholic education and is reflected in our
students, not only in the classroom but in the life lessons
each child takes to the next level of growth.
St. Basil Catholic School is a co-educational K-8 elementary and middle school that provides a caring learning atmosphere for children of all faiths. Our school works in partnership with parents in promoting family values, respect, and responsibility in a friendly, safe environment.

Do students wear a uniform every day? Students at Saint Basil School do wear a school uniform on most days. The uniform consists of navy blue and white for elementary students, including variations with turtlenecks, polo-style shirts, plaid skirts, plaid jumpers, sweaters and vests. Middle school students may incorporate khaki pants into their daily uniform. On Mass days, students step it up a notch with neckties or skirts. About every other week, St. Basil has a "color day" for students to wear their regular attire at school. Parents and students receive a school handbook before the beginning of the school year that explains the school dress code.
Do students pray in school? Every morning before the morning announcements, students are led in a prayer. Another prayer is said at the end of the day.
What qualifications to Saint Basil teachers have?

Professional Preparation Services, certifies St. Basil teachers

What is the student to teacher ratio? As of the 2007-08 school year, there were approximately 14 students for every teacher, and about 9 students for every staff member. For other statistics, including our most recent MEAP scores, accreditation and more, click here.
